Safety in kitchen with DOMINA Hotel

The extreme flexibility of the AVE DOMINA Hotel automation system is able to increase the comfort and safety in any room, including the kitchen. In addition to the “standard” functions related to lighting control, rolling shutters, ventilation or temperature control, AVE has designed a series of solutions specifically addressed to the kitchen that can help to prevent possible dangers due to inadequate management of gas or water leaks and, even in the event of a fire, to limit damage by promptly alerting the operators.

In a space where the safety is essential, the AVE’s hotel automation is able to intervene minimizing the possible risks. If properly configured DOMINA Hotel system is able to recognize any water leaks that will be properly circumscribed by the automatic closing of the main valve and by the interruption of the electricity network so as to prevent short circuits. Promptly warned, operator can proceed to have rectified the fault without having to avoid unpleasant surprises and much more expensive maintenance operations.

Similarly, the DOMINA hotel system can also intervene in the management of gas leaks. In case of a gas leakage in the kitchen, the hotel automation system will intervene going to close the discharge valve, stopping the delivery of the electric network and automatically opening motorized windows to facilitate air exchange. In this way, DOMINA Hotel will prevent any short circuits thus avoiding the development of a possible fire. The operator will be duly notified through a technical alarm on reception’s PC, allowing him to return hotel in safety.

Thanks to the perfect integration with DOMINA Antincendio Fire detection system, DOMINA Hotel is able to quickly detect fire hazards. In this case too, an optical-acoustic signalling will be displayed on the reception’s PC and the electrical loads of the kitchen will be disconnected.
