Card readers: the AVE’s smart access system

AVE offers an exclusive and technological room access control system for hotel that perfectly matches with the other electrical devices and DOMINA Hotel automation system. Thanks to two different types of card readers (external card reader and the internal one) you can reach the highest standards of comfort and safety, without sacrificing the aesthetic component. Perfectly coordinated with the AVE wiring accessories series Sistema 44, AVE card readers enable to create a smart rooms and common areas access control system.

External card readers facilitate rooms and common areas access control, while internal card readers (placed inside the hotel rooms) allow the activation of the loads and room services only at the presence of enabled card. Both these devices are equipped with MIFARE® technology and are able to work both in stand-alone solution and in networked one, depending on how they are configured and installed.

The integrated MIFARE® technology in fact enable the generation of cards with a higher level of security and allows to incorporate advanced services inside them (such as the ability to insert third parts’ payment systems into the AVE cards) with a premier reading performance. So you can configure these devices for access control and load activation in different areas.

The AVE’s card reader devices can concretely optimize the facilities for guests. Boasting a simple and intuitive operation, the customer will only approach or insert the card into the reader to open the door, while service status and “do not disturb” function (activated by a button inside the hotel room) will be conveniently displayed on the external reader through the dedicated LED. The load activation and room service will be enabled only in the presence of an authorized card, so the structure can benefit from a greater energy savings and a further degree of safety preventing the occurrence of short circuits in the unoccupied rooms.

The flexibility of DOMINA Hotel system allows to exploit the card readers in different environments like garage or service areas – for example – in order to inhibit the access to staff only, or also in paid areas thus allowing the formulation of wellness packages only to enabled card or through scalable credits based on the number of entries. This secure flexible and reliable solution allows operators to monitor all access to any rooms and so to have the total control on the structure, its employees or also to create spa packages for guests.

Available with Ave Touch glass front plate or in the aluminium version Allumia Touch, Vip System Touch is a valuable aesthetic variant that extends and completes AVE’s access control offer. It’s the first device with touch front plate and transponder reader that, when installed outside of a hotel room, allows the simple automatic management of all functions related to access, occupation status of the room and “do not disturb”. Vip System Touch is fully adaptable to any furniture solution. It’s also possible to customize the Vip System Touch glass front plate with hotel logo and room number, which can be even more visible using the special model with backlighting.
