Energy-saving hotel with AVE automation

AVE DOMINA Hotel automation is able to create energy-saving hotels making them more optimized. In fact, the system developed by AVE is able to guarantee various automation solutions that help the hotelier in the hotel management minimizing unnecessary energy waste (and therefore economic one) that weighs on the hotel.

The flexibility of the AVE hotel automation system allows to create advanced functions for energy saving both in the rooms and in the common areas. Through the technology integrated in the room card readers, DOMINA Hotel is able to detect the absence of guests inside the room and therefore to disconnect superfluous loads, such as thermoregulation or lighting, so to avoid excessive energy expenditure.

Through “Luce Amica” device it’s possible to let the system detect the presence of people inside the common areas rooms, checking the quantity of light inside them, thus to adjust the artificial lighting only when it’s strictly and truly necessary.

The AVE hotel management software is able to interface with the main heating and air conditioning systems. In this way, it’s possible to optimize consumption: thanks to the innovative integrated High Precision Thermostat technology, the AVE hotel automation thermoregulation devices guarantee extreme temperature measurement accuracy, minimizing annoying and costly periodic changes of the room temperature. Furthermore, if properly configured, the DOMINA Hotel system can detect the presence of open windows inside the rooms and automatically turn off the air conditioning and heating systems present in those areas.

To avoid consumption peaks deriving from electronic devices, it’s possible to combine the hotel management system with AVE home automation and load control/economizer device. In this way, the system can automatically disconnect any appliances in the event of an electrical overload, avoiding excessive consumption or possible blackouts. The AVE home automation economizer also allows a separate management of loads activation (by a timer) letting in this way to exploit the various contractual formulas currently on the energy market.

Another great advantage of AVE home automation as regards energy saving is the ability to monitor the consumption through the Touch Screens: the hotelier can constantly monitor his own consumption by setting the search parameters himself (type of consumption and period). By connecting the economizer with pulse emitter counter, any other consumption, such as water and gas, can also be kept under control. This information is very useful in order to learn how to make the best use of resources, but also to recognize any malfunctions, losses or dispersions.
