StraVagante Hostel chooses DOMINA Hotel for a hospitality without barriers

StraVagante Hostel, the first social hostel in Verona, whose management is also entrusted to disabled people, chooses DOMINA Hotel for a hospitality without barriers. In order to facilitate the management of this structure, an advanced building automation system has been created, able of streamlining the daily reception operations and, at the same time, reserving an excellent service – also for disabled people.

Inside the StraVagante hostel, the evolved AVE mini Touch Screens TS01 make their appearance to manage the building automation system of the room through an extremely intuitive user interface with interactive menus and icons. These devices allow the control of various functions, such as lighting, temperature control or “Do Not Disturb”, and the visualization of hostel’s information and timetables, as well as local weather and tourist information. For maximum usability, all these features are also controllable remotely, allowing guest to manage the room from his smartphone.

AVE DOMINA Hotel automation system assists also the rooms access management. Each room of StraVagante Hostel is equipped with two different card readers: an external one for room opening and an internal reader for room loads and services’ enabling. In this way, the hostel can benefit from a greater energy saving and an additional degree of protection when the room is unoccupied, preventing the occurrence of short-circuits when there aren’t guests in the room. The MIFARE^® technology of AVE readers allow the generation of cards with a higher level of security and the integration of innovative services such as, for example, hairdryer’s enabling.

The best technology pairs with top-design solutions, able to reflect the style of each structure. At StraVagante Hostel the electrical system is characterized by original aesthetic choices. The visible system’s elements are emphasized by the refined white tone of AVE Domus 100 wiring accessories series and the linearity of the Young front plates, which surround switches, card reader, thermostats and sockets giving the overall design a formal and aesthetic balance.
